Experiences that last a lifetime!

Troop 895 in central Sarasota is an active, friendly troop with a long tradition of fun, learning, and advancement.

We have lots of great activities throughout the year, including kayaking, rock climbing, tubing, and, of course, camping!

Scouting is not only fun, it also presents one of the best opportunities for our youth to make lasting friendships, build character and leadership skills, experience a wide range of challenging activities, many of them in the outdoors, and develop into productive and responsible citizens.

We go to summer camp in great places like North Carolina, Georgia, and here in Florida.

We provide an active program in which every interested Scout can attain Eagle Rank.

Leadership

The boys are led by Senior Patrol Leader Lauden Simon, our Scoutmaster is Justin Tyna, and the Troop Committee is chaired by Karina Bogue.
